Handstand and Floating (press) Workshop
How to float up gracefully into handstand using the Bandhas!
In this workshop we will break down the main techniques to press up: Puppy, tuck, straddle and pike.
We will learn the drills and activations needed to access the lift-off. There will be options and progressions for different levels, so each participant will have the drills that fit their practice and body.
This workshop is open for intermediate and advanced practitioners.
You don’t need to know how to handstand! 🙂

Join Leon and Maayan for a two hour Rocket class focused on getting the float in the sun salutations, and on how to incorporate inversions into your practice.

 We will begin by breaking down and teaching floating techniques in the Salutations, and then continue with the Rocket Vinyasa fun and flowing sequence, peppered with arm- balances and inversions. 

This class is a great introduction to the fundamentals of Rocket practice, and is suitable for all dynamic yoga practitioners.

 There will be options for every level. 

And no, You don’t need to know how to handstand! :-)

A long,  challenging and fun class in which Leon will take students through the  Rocket 3 sequence. 

This strong and invigorating practice is a perfect blend of strength and flexibility, drawing elements from the 2nd and 3rd series of Ashtanga, there are many arm-balances and strengthening drills that  warm  the body for deep backbends and heart openers. Prepare to sweat and take your practice to another dimension!

Rocket Ashtanga Vinyasa was born in San Francisco  in the early 90’s, it was developed by Larry Schultz, a long term student of pattabhi Jois. The style presents challenging asanas from the intermediate and  advanced Ashtanga series in an accessible way to practitioners. It is a fun and challenging flow with focus on handstands and arm-balances, as well as heart and hip openers.



Leon London is a senior Rocket Vinyasa teacher; he teaches a unique style of Rocket and Ashtanga (Progressive Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga). Leon’s yoga classes are a challenging and fun flow, with lots of arm balances and inversions.

He humbly cites Sri Dharma Mittra, Emi Tull (Dharma), David Kyle (Rocket), and David Swenson & Ryan Spielman, And in India Balu Thevar (Ashtanga) as his teachers, and thanks them for their Knowledge.

Leon has over 20 years of experience in yoga, as well as training in various arts such as functional fitness, animal flow, capoeira, kettlebells, Indian clubs, callisthenics and boxing.​ He teaches in London's best studios and runs yoga retreats and teacher trainings in Europe and beyond. 

Maayan Shenhar is the founder of Sira Yoga Studio in Jerusalem. She is a  Ashtanga Vinyasa, Yin Dharma and Rocket teacher.  Her classes offer practitioners the opportunity to try challenging asanas with humor and playfulness, as well as explore yogic philosophy in a simple and practical manner.  


Maayan has been practicing yoga for over 10yrs and has studied with Sri Dharma Mittra, Caroline Clebb, and David Swenson. Her approach to yoga is inspired by a Philosophy Degree and a passion for practical philosophy.
